Our Vision and Goal
We want this celebration to:
- Bring our communities together.
- Honor local history, culture, and traditions.
- Highlight local talent, youth, and community spirit.
- Create memories that families can look back on for years to come.
Our goal is to create a celebration that is welcoming, meaningful, and enjoyable for everyone—a day where every resident of the County can feel included, connected, and proud to take part. We want this event to reflect the spirit of our entire community, bringing together families, neighbors, local organizations, and visitors in a shared celebration of what makes our Nation, our State and our County special. By highlighting our traditions, talents, and community pride, we hope to create an atmosphere where people from every corner of the County feel represented and valued.
More than just a day of festivities, this celebration is meant to strengthen the bonds that unite us. It is an opportunity for people to gather, reconnect, and create lasting memories while honoring the heritage and values that we all share. Our aim is for everyone—young and old, longtime residents and newcomers alike—to walk away feeling that this is truly their celebration, a day that Pittslyvania County can celebrate together and be proud to call themselves American.
